The Music of Silence (an original piece of work)
He was mute, his sentences forever locked inside himself. Piano was his only outlet, letting him express his true feelings. His fingers would become his words, and the music would be his story. The past was a shattered memory to him. Was everything really the way it seemed in his past? No matter how hard he tried, memories slipped through his hands and he could never grasp onto it like he could with the future.
She was deaf, all sounds always rushing by her. She only spoke when forced to, hating the fact that she knew nothing of how she sounded. Voices felt as if they were unreachable to her. Refusing to submit to the silence, however, she always took her pen in hand and wrote. One by one, she would pull out the words that sat at the bottom of people’s hearts. Sometimes she would make them see what was real, and others she would shatter unintentionally.
They had what the other needed. So will fate let them have their way, or will it meddle in the worst ways possible?
Rating: PG13 for possible violence and language.
